I chose this topic because I like the fact that Mexicans lived in this country before the whites did and know we are being kicked out of our own country. Also people think that Chicanos and immigrants are bad, but really they are just watching out for each other in a union.
This topic seems like it is going to be very interesting because learning about your own culture and the struggles they went through is good to know. I can imagine that I will be seeing a lot of racist events that happen during the time were we were being abused by.
I want to know how chicanos came to be a form of group that people fear?
