Movie Review

The movie I watched was called blood in blood out. This movie was pretty interesting because it's scenes and events captured my attention. This movie is filled with a lot of accurate things that Chicanos do for example they do drug trafficking, disrespect other peoples hoods like cross off their taggings in the wall and hate their colors, and last they just fight you if you are not from the hood. Some of the actors are Benjamin Bratt as paco, Enrique Castillo as Montana, Victor Rivers as Magic Mike. The main director of the movie blood in blood out was Taylord Hackford. He has made many movies, ever since 1978 he has made 22 movies. His most recent one was in 2004 and it was called Ray. The genre of the movie is adventure because the actor miklo was in juvenile hall and attacked his father and now is headed towards the vatos locos hood were he finds himself in a tight spot. It is documentary because the movie takes place in a rel place were most information in the movie true. The movie does talk on my topic because it shows how illegal or chicano it is difficult to live in the United States, were we hispanics are worth not too much and have to live in these gang infested towns and cities. It think the movie was pretty intersting because I learned how gangs are runned and how crimes are easy to get away with in hoods. The movie blood in blood out is one of the best movies I have seen because it connects on to me on how I went through that because I grew up in a similar place to the movie. Where you have shootings every night and you hear the cops siren every day. You grow up not to fear anyone and a brutal beating is very common to you.
